“Should we do a ‘4 photographers shoot 1 model’ video?”
It all started with a random Instagram group being made..
On July 31st, 2019 I was in my room, relaxing, taking it easy whilst lining up multiple tabs of LeBron highlights to binge when I felt my phone vibrate. Suddenly I found myself in an Instagram group chat with 30 other people thinking to myself “What the..? These spam account are out of control” but I was wrong…
Looking deeper I realized I recognized a few of the members of this mysterious group, they were a few friends of mine and some other mutuals. “SOOO I’m planning a shoot with a bunch of photographers and models on August 11th….golden hour….drinks afterwards” or something along those lines is what Sabrina wrote (paraphrasing of course). “I’m definitely down.” was my response.
On the day it was nothing but good vibes, a warm creative atmosphere, series of adrenaline rushes and fun. Everyone on the day was great, the models were fantastic and I tried to make them feel comfortable since it can’t be easy having 4 camera lenses pointing in your direction at once.
Some of my favourite portrait shots were taken this day, and we even got a video of the day (you can view that below.) I took a bunch of amazing shots on my film camera too, but the film was unrecoverable so I guess I’ll never know..
